Today, the Agile industry tends to reserve the “expert” label for people who gain exposure in the community by writing great blogs, speaking at conferences and publishing agile books. While this is certainly a significant contribution to the community, we believe that there are great agilists within organizations who live agile every day and make exceptional contributions on the ground, where it matters most.

In light of this, ICAgile seeks to provide the industry with two things: (1) a Learning Roadmap for people to acquire knowledge and build capability in agile approaches, and (2) a means of recognizing expertise through real-world experience and demonstration of capability. ICAgile offers ICAgile Certified Expert (ICE) level certifications for various disciplines across the Learning Roadmap (e.g., Agile Coaching, Agile Testing, etc.)

The ICAgile Certified Expert in Enterprise Coaching (ICE-EC) designation is granted to professionals who successfully complete an Accredited Expert Program (AEP) by demonstrating competencies necessary to coach for organizational agility. These rigorous programs — offered by leaders in the domain of Agile Coaching — guide qualified candidates on a journey to build competence over time alongside a cohort of peers. Vetted for quality, each Accredited Expert Program allows candidates to sharpen competencies in a real-world setting with ongoing feedback from facilitators and fellow candidates.
